We are actively seeking an exceptional Senior Manager for Marketing Planning and Analysis to join our team!  In this lead role within our telehealth business, Lemonaid Health, you will be instrumental in accurately predicting demand while working collaboratively across teams to shape marketing strategies aligned with our company's vision.

This position will report to the Director, Demand Planning and Forecasting.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Take a leadership role in collaborating with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to formulate comprehensive marketing plans that align to 23andMe's objectives.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of demand forecasting models that predict consumer engagement with our telehealth services. Work directly with the media teams to ensure media plans tie to the business forecast. Collaborate closely with pharmacy and medical operations teams to optimize inventory and staffing levels.
  • Assist in financial sizing and prioritization of initiatives to ensure business goals are met. Collaborate with Marketing, Finance and Product teams to ensure that measurement strategies are in place for all new initiatives and that resources are effectively deployed.
  • Manage the marketing budget process from planning to execution. Collaborate with finance and marketing channel owners to effectively allocate budgets for marketing initiatives, utilizing demand forecasts and growth objectives. Work with marketing channel managers to ensure marketing budgets are effectively managed and tracked and stay within overall targets.
  • Work closely with product teams to identify improvements to various products and services based on customer and data insights. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance customer experiences.
  • Manage the marketing, sales and retention reporting processes across the entire Lemonaid Health team from C-Level to individual contributors.
  • Work with the internal analytics team to ensure data is captured, available for analysis and presented in a way that you and your stakeholders require. This includes development of dashboards, reports and interaction with data engineering teams.
  • Recommend and lead analyses to uncover customer trends, preferences, and behavioral patterns across initiatives that will include pricing, new customer acquisition, customer retention, churn, life-time value (LTV), media spend and AB testing on the web channel. Translate these insights into actionable strategies for marketing, product, customer care and medical operations teams to drive the business to hitting goals.
  • Collaborate with brand and media teams to provide insights and strategic guidance for the planning of campaigns. Ensure campaigns align with demand forecasts and overarching company goals.
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams, with a specific focus on working closely with the media, product and finance teams. Provide insights that inform the strategic planning of campaigns and media initiatives.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in demand forecasting, strategic marketing, marketing channel management (such as web, digital, search, etc.) or related roles, with expertise in healthcare, telehealth, or related industries.
  • Proven track record in developing demand forecasting models and translating data insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills that include being comfortable presenting to C-level employees.
  • Collaboration mindset, ability to balance different stakeholder needs across diverse teams and manage disparate mindsets to agreed-to outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing techniques, campaign development, and digital strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to transform data into actionable strategies.
  • Effective project management skills to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to work from 23andMe’s Sunnyvale office a minimum of three days per week.

 

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience in healthcare sectors and direct to consumer business models is highly advantageous.
  • Telehealth experience is a major plus.

Pay Transparency
23andMe takes a market-based approach to pay, and amounts will vary depending on your geographic location. The salary range reflected here is for a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
