The Role:

You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our Philippines Tutor growth operations, including marketing campaigns, brand awareness promotions, group partnerships, social media, community engagement, and other strategic growth initiatives. Most importantly, you will manage, mentor, and lead a team of community representatives to acquire high performing tutors on Course Hero.

You are skilled at making big decisions, tackling tough problems, and doing whatever it takes to build a community of high performing tutors who consistently deliver high-quality answers to students.

Here are some ways you'll have an impact on our mission:

  • Scale Course Hero at colleges and universities across the country, to drive brand awareness of Course Hero’s tutoring platform and increase our community of tutors
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a remote team of community representatives
  • Guide your team to develop and launch marketing initiatives to address our supply gaps and turn best practices into a playbook
  • Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to make key decisions
  • Form close partnerships with local schools, organizations, and influencers
  • Manage overall business development and business growth within your region

Here are some of the experiences and skills you’ll leverage in this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, community management, business development, consulting, sales or marketing role
  • Track record of managing high-performance teams; including remote teams and agencies
  • Knowledge of seeding marketplaces and building operational processes for repeatable product launches
  • Involvement with building and owning a marketing budget, with responsibility for tracking and reporting KPIs
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, balanced with a keen understanding for the markets you’re launching and a high degree of empathy -- for your team and our users
  • A Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
  • Massive hustler, combining an entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done attitude
  • A love of the Course Hero brand and vision
  • A strong history of teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and success
