Overview
As a Sr. Technical Product Manager at Dasera, you will play a key role in defining the roadmap and user experience of new product initiatives and be responsible for its grooming, planning, design, delivery, and launch. You will manage the product features from conception to launch while owning the success of the product. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering, support, UX design, marketing, sales, customers, and partners, to deeply understand our target audience, ensuring collaboration, eliminating roadblocks, and effectively managing the product life cycle.
We are looking for a candidate who is obsessed with delivering the most customer-centric experience, is comfortable sharing their vision with the leadership team, willing to roll up their sleeves, and work closely with engineering teams to dive deep into details to make ideas into reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Become an expert in Dasera’s platform that provides visibility, control and protection of cloud data stores
- Conduct user and market research - including working with customers to understand their needs
- Cultivate deep empathy for challenges faced by customer personas
- Design new features, define scope, and deliver value rapidly
- Manage the product development process end-to-end, from conception through design, release, and future iterations
- Write product plans, detailed requirements and user stories
- Work with the UX team to create wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups
- Be a trusted business partner to the engineering team and serve as a strategic advisor for all technical and business-related matters related to the product
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across the entire organization
- Analyze the competitive landscape and collaborate with sales and marketing to evangelize product releases, build highly compelling and evidence-based competitive positioning content
Experience and Skills: Must Haves
- 4+ years of experience as product manager in a SaaS environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience leading post-launch optimizations, success metrics and user feedback
- Attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment and scale to accommodate rapid growth
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Experience and Skills: Nice to haves
- Strong understanding of the data security landscape, including Data warehouses, Databases, Cloud Storage and Analytics and BI applications
- Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA would be a nice to have
- Knowledge of AI/ML models and deployment would be a great plus
