About DeepHow
DeepHow is a Physical AI platform for industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and utilities that helps organizations capture expert know-how, turn it into dynamic work instructions, and drive verified execution on the front line.
The platform spans knowledge capture and sharing, AI-powered verification through Smart Compare and photo/video validation, and time and motion intelligence through guided workflows, SOP adherence, and real-time execution visibility. DeepHow supports customers from knowledge capture to verified execution, with strategic account expansion often centered on verification, AI-guided workflows, and time and motion intelligence.
The Role
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager who doesn't just understand manufacturing technology — they've lived it. You know what a line balancing study actually involves. You've seen the gap between what an SOP says and what happens at the work cell. You understand why first-pass yield is sacred and what it takes to move it.
This is a senior, high-ownership role. You'll lead product strategy across one or more of DeepHow's core product lines — Knowledge Capture & Transfer, Operational Output Verification, Live SOP Verification, and Time and Motion AI — working closely with engineering, design, and our manufacturing customers to set direction and ship products that matter on the floor..
Responsibilities & Requirements
• Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and drive the roadmap for your product lines. Prioritize ruthlessly against customer outcomes — onboarding time, first-pass yield, deviation rates, line efficiency — not just feature velocity.
• Customer Discovery Go deep with process engineers, quality managers, industrial engineers, and plant operations leads. Understand their workflows well enough to challenge your own assumptions. Know the difference between what customers ask for and what will actually move the needle.
• Cross-functional Execution Partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality products. Write crisp specs. Run tight discovery-to-delivery cycles. Balance long-term platform thinking with near-term customer commitments.
• Go-to-Market Partnership Support Sales and Customer Success as the domain expert — in enterprise deals, customer QBRs, and product marketing conversations. You can talk to a plant manager and a VP of Operations in the same day and land differently with each.
• AI Product Judgment DeepHow's products are AI-native — from step detection in live video to automated activity classification to computer vision-based output verification. You bring clear thinking on what AI can and can't do reliably in a manufacturing context, and you set appropriate accuracy, latency, and confidence thresholds that customers can actually trust.
Education & Experience
• 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent in manufacturing technology, industrial software, or operations-adjacent domains — MES, quality management systems, connected worker platforms, ERP, or similar
• Manufacturing fluency — you're comfortable in a plant environment, you understand lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, PFMEA, line balancing, takt time, first-pass yield), and you don't need acronyms explained
• Enterprise B2B track record — experience shipping products used by frontline operators and operations/quality leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Outcome orientation — you define success in customer terms: cycle time reduced, defects caught, onboarding weeks cut, lines balanced faster
• Strong communication — you write clearly, you can present to a plant floor team and a C-suite, and you bring alignment rather than confusion
• Bonus: hands-on experience with computer vision, video AI, or machine learning products in industrial or operational settings
