Job Summary
Enable is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced team in the accounting department. In this role, you will help scale our finance operations by delivering and collaborating on Enable’s corporate and sales compensation programs for 700 employees. You will work collaboratively across departments to execute compensation plans by maintaining commission systems and applying policies to deliver accurate and timely commission & bonus payments.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have ownership over the data, processes, and controls that drive the accuracy of our bonus and commission programs. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will work on providing support for the monthly and quarterly commissions & bonus calculations. They will also be responsible for ensuring accurate compensation calculations for all other business segments.
What we are asking you to do!
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end company-wide compensation process, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
- Preparation and submission of monthly incentives and bonus calculation files
- Review and maintain relevant data required to calculate commissions (e.g., comp plan terms, employee target incentives, etc.) in our compensation system.
- Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Address complex commission & bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections in a timely manner, providing a positive employee experience when resolving issues and acting as an escalation point for the team.
- Maintain sales comp plan document templates and execute distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeline for each employee on an incentive plan.
- Collaborate with revenue operations teammates on systems improvements for commissions.
- Document and maintain business processes for monthly/quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits.
- Design and develop complex queries, comprehensive reports, and advanced analyses in order to facilitate fact-based business decisions.
- Provide ad-hoc and regular reporting, analysis, and key projects for consumption by business partners in sales, sales finance, accounting, and other areas of the business.
- Partner with Finance teams on accruals, reporting, and operating cadence
- Calculate and maintain rep performance dashboards.
- Act as the subject matter expert on sales compensation, providing expertise and strategic advice to stakeholders across the organization.
What we are asking you to bring!
- A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales Compensation, FP&A, or Finance related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.
- Optional - Currently enrolled in CPA program.
