Job Summary
As a People Operations and Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging employee experience by providing operational and strategic support across multiple People functions. You will be responsible for managing HR systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy, supporting employee lifecycle activities, and contributing to People-related projects. This role requires a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to drive efficiency, enhance employee experience, and support the broader People team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain employee data within the HRIS (Dayforce), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • In partnership with Enable’s IT team, monitor and support the overall People tech stack to ensure accurate data throughout.
  • Act as a key resource for HR system support, assisting People Business Partners and Total Rewards teams in leveraging HR technology for efficiencies.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and transition needs, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute employment documentation, including offer letters, compensation updates, and compliance-related materials.
  • Assist in the execution and evolution of compensation processes, including annual and quarterly pay adjustments.
  • Configure and maintain system workflows, policies, entitlements, and security roles.
  • Support system enhancement initiatives by identifying improvements, gathering requirements, and leading UAT.
  • Translate business requirements into reporting specifications; build, configure, and maintain HRIS reports, dashboards, and custom data views for stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for HRIS inquiries and escalations, partnering with Payroll, Finance, IT, and People Business Partners to resolve issues and support end users.
  • Contribute to People team projects, such as process improvements, engagement initiatives, and policy enhancements.
  • Provide first-line support for employee inquiries, ensuring a responsive and employee-centric People function.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, and other teams to ensure smooth execution of People processes.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment regulations.
  • Experience managing HR systems (Dayforce preferred) with a focus on data integrity and process efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to contribute to HR initiatives and projects beyond daily operations.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of administration experience, with experience in an HR department
  • Completion of postsecondary education is an asset.
  • Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Experience in HR software (Dayforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Travel

  • Travel may be required for business purposes as needed to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the role.
