Inspirit is looking for a High School Biology Subject Matter Expert to join our USA team on contract immediately.

About ​
At Inspirit, we build experiential learning tools that transform K12 education.
Product: We currently have innovative experiences in STEM (math and science), career discovery, and career training content accessible in virtual reality, augmented reality, and on computers for students in middle and high school.

What will you do? ​
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with our XR development team to design and shape high school biology curriculum for XR-based learning experiences.
Identify and prioritize core biology concepts suitable for high school students that must be included in the XR science simulations.
Ensure content aligns with NGSS standards
Teaching Methodologies:
Provide innovative ideas and strategies for effectively teaching biology concepts in an XR environment, tailored to US high school students.
Suggest pedagogical approaches that maximize the potential of XR technology for high school science education.
Content Review:
Review and provide feedback on the XR content to ensure accuracy, scientific rigor, and educational effectiveness for US high school students.
Documentation:
Create clear and comprehensive documentation outlining curriculum guidelines, core concepts, and teaching strategies for XR-based high school biology lessons.
Key Skills for Success ​
Current high school Biology teacher in the United States.
Strong knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Passion for integrating innovative technology, like XR, into the high school biology curriculum.
Familiarity with XR technologies and their applications in education.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Previous experience in educational technology or XR-based curriculum development is a plus.
