Position: Business Intelligence Developer (3 month contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer with extensive experience transforming data into valuable insights.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data and business analysis, along with the ability to communicate analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

As the BI Developer, you will facilitate a comprehensive data assessment to help us drive data-driven decision-making and long-term strategic planning across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct a thorough data assessment to ensure data accuracy, provide critical insights, identify trends and provide data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Growth, Product, Customer Success and Marketing
  • Leverage experience with ChurnZero and Pendo to enhance data analysis and visualization capabilities (preferred but not required)
  • Develop solid grasp of the data and business drivers to make recommendations and influence strategic decisions
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Push the boundaries of conventional thinking and focus on long-term strategic planning

  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business processes with an analytical aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Solid understanding of relational data concepts and data modeling
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Proficiency in Tableau and R preferred
  • Experience with predictive modeling techniques
  • Familiarity with ChurnZero and Pendo preferred
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.
