Position: Product Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager you will support efforts to develop and execute the marketing strategy, messaging and positioning for skilled trades learning solutions at Interplay Learning. This role will focus on marketing to residential HVAC, electrical, plumbing and solar companies. Similar or relevant experience is preferred!

What you’ll do:

(Key Skills: Competitive Research, Messaging/Writing, Sales Enablement)

  • Identify target customers, their needs, and how products will meet those needs

  • Develop value propositions and messaging materials to clearly communicate the solutions and benefits to prospective customers

  • Partner with Product Management to develop product strategies and roadmaps

  • Assist with go-to-market strategies and launches

  • Work closely with Demand Generation to ensure the product is being clearly represented and effectively positioned to the market

  • Enable the sales team to effectively communicate value to potential buyers

  • Be the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Use customer insights to provide actionable recommendations

  • Use competitive intelligence to anticipate changes and differentiate product offerings

  • Document and map out the customer journey of our potential buyers and adjust our marketing strategies based on your projections.

  • Develop high-quality content for sales enablement and external marketing

  • Define success targets and optimize performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience with a B2B SaaS company or similar. Demonstrated success in managing go-to-market for SaaS products.

  • 1-2 years of product marketing expertise including marketing content development, sales enablement, product management support, channel marketing, buyer journey mapping, and product GTM launches.

  • 1-2 years of experience in developing buyer personas, product messaging, sales presentations, and marketing collateral (info sheets, white papers, ebooks, reports, eguides, sales briefs).

  • Demonstrated writing skills. Able to write about technology clearly with the ability to distill complex business and technology concepts into easily understood value statements.

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and insights to drive decisions.

  • Adaptive personality, highly organized and self-motivated, taking ownership and delivering results.

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.

  • Please note: This hiring/interview process may include a written assessment following the first interview.

Pay: $70-85k (salary only, no bonus)
