About Inventive

At Inventive, our mission is to build intelligence that helps B2B sales teams win deals. Our first product is an AI copilot for sales teams that helps them create winning proposals for deal sizes of up to $100Mn with the help of advanced knowledge management with LLMs. The copilot helps the sales team understand and extract essential sections from RFP documents, obtain AI-generated responses to questions, and receive intelligent suggestions on meeting compliance requirements and outshining competitors.

  • Founding team: comprises of a repeat founder (who successfully exited his series-B company), a product leader from Google Brain (the first product lead on a generative AI platform), and a researcher from Stanford (author of a book on deep learning).
  • Top investors: We graduated from Y-Combinator in the summer of 2023 and have raised a seed round from Valley's top investors.

We are looking for a rockstar Full Stack Engineer to join our small but rapidly growing team. If you are up for a solid challenge, you like to take ownership & you love working in a fast-paced setting, then you have found your tribe.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build a robust, world-class product that delights users.
  • Write high-quality, well-documented, and testable code while moving fast to deliver outcomes. Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Own a significant portion of the platform and demonstrate proficiency in
    • **Front-End: Next.js/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5; strong grasp of CSS, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and component library creation; optimize front-end with intuitive design principles.
    • **Back-End: Django Framework; Python for backend development, automation, and integration tasks; relational databases and high-performance SQL.

  • Ability to move quickly and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Docker, OpenAI services, and AWS Services is a plus.
  • Based in the SF Bay Area (or willing to move in a reasonable time frame).
