About Inventive AIInventive AI helps teams win more RFPs in less time. Our platform uses AI agents to draft responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and security questionnaires, grounded in each customer's own approved content.
We also give proposal teams AI-driven content governance, so the answers that go out are accurate, current and on-message. Sales, presales and proposal teams use Inventive to respond faster without trading away quality.
About the roleWe sell to buyers who run formal evaluations, so we answer a lot of RFPs ourselves. You will run that process: deciding which bids to chase, coordinating experts across the company, and shipping winning responses on deadline.
You will do it inside Inventive AI. That makes you our most demanding user, and your feedback goes straight to the product team. The ideal candidate is part project manager, part writer and part strategist.
What you'll do - Own the bid process end to end. Run every RFP, RFI, DDQ and security questionnaire from intake to submission, and hit every deadline.
- Lead bid/no-bid decisions. Qualify opportunities with Sales against fit, win probability and effort, and recommend where we should compete.
- Build the win strategy. Work with account executives to define win themes, differentiators and pricing positioning for each bid.
- Coordinate subject-matter experts. Pull timely, accurate input from Product, Engineering, Security, Legal and Finance without burning them out.
- Write and edit. Turn AI-drafted and SME answers into clear, persuasive, compliant responses in one consistent voice.
- Run our content library. Keep approved answers current in Inventive AI, retire stale content, and set review cycles with content owners.
- Manage compliance and quality. Build compliance matrices, check every requirement is met, and run final reviews before submission.
- Learn from every outcome. Run win/loss debriefs, track bid metrics, and feed the lessons into the next response.
- Be the voice of the proposal team. Share hands-on product feedback with Product and support Sales and Marketing with real-world proposal expertise.
What you'll bring - 4–8 years managing bids, proposals or RFP responses, ideally for B2B SaaS or technology products.
- A track record of running several complex bids at once and delivering on time.
- Excellent written English: you can make a technical answer clear, concise and persuasive.
- Strong project management and stakeholder skills; you can get busy experts to deliver without formal authority.
- Comfort with enterprise buyer requirements, including security, compliance and procurement questions.
- Sharp attention to detail and a habit of checking every requirement before submission.
- Curiosity about AI and a willingness to change how bids get done.
Nice to have - APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification.
- Hands-on experience with RFP software (Inventive AI, Loopio, Responsive or similar).
- Familiarity with security questionnaires and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Experience with public-sector or regulated-industry tenders.
