Our unique voice moderation solution, ToxMod, powers some of the largest games out there, but we need your help to continue building bridges within the industry and really transform the gaming world. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with top industry researchers, nonprofits, AAA and indie game studios, tech companies - anyone and everyone working to improve trust & safety in games; while also having the opportunity to rapidly grow within a fast-paced startup environment focused on personal growth and autonomy.
The salary for this position is set at $110,000/yr for the Associate level and $120,000/yr for the Manager level.

This role's responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and key members of the business development team to help transform our many allies in the industry to concrete partners
  • Help build bridges between Modulate's research team and academic and industry researchers to ensure we're contributing to the social whole
  • Implement and shape our tools and processes to make sure we're working effectively with our partners and providing them value in return
  • Participate with other BD team members in brainstorming strategy, networking at conferences, and otherwise staying on top of a rapidly shifting industry
  • Dive into Modulate's culture of transparency, personal growth, and autonomy, taking advantage of the opportunities for growth while supporting your colleagues on their own growth trajectories with open, candid, and caring feedback

Desired qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working with external partners (for 'Manager' title, should include specific experience with research partners and channel partners)
  • Top-tier organizational skills and ability to track quickly changing context
  • Reliability to represent Modulate's expertise, culture, and capabilities to the wider industry
  • Familiarity with CRMs or partner management systems
  • Comfort with occasional travel
  • Bonus: experience working in the games or social media industry
