The salary for this position is set to $100,000/year (senior) or $125,000/year (enterprise) plus commission, with on-target earnings of roughly $180,000 (senior) or $250,000 (enterprise) (including guaranteed variable comp while you ramp up and build your pipeline), along with accelerated commission for those able to exceed their targets. While we prefer that candidates for this role are in the Boston area and able to meet our hybrid office policy, they may be based anywhere in the U.S., ideally within a convenient distance to larger gaming hubs like LA, Seattle, Boston, New York, or Raleigh. A willingness to travel is required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive the full sales cycle for AAA studios, including prospecting, building out champions across multiple threads, coaching studios on best practices and how to get real value from our solutions, and of course getting the deal over the finish line.
  • Work closely with our VP of Sales and other BD leadership to refine our sales process, collateral, and strategy
  • Periodic travel (typically 0-2 trips per month) to visit prospects, attend industry events, and nurture your network
  • Dive into Modulate's culture of transparency, personal growth, and autonomy, taking advantage of the opportunities for growth while supporting your colleagues on their own growth trajectories with open, candid, and caring feedback

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working deals upward of $500k ARR
  • Substantial experience multi-threading accounts and working with multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to coach and work closely with champions, procurement, and legal
  • An understanding of how to leverage partnership ecosystems
  • At least one of the following: love for gaming, passion for AI, and dedication to making the world a better place
  • Great communication skills
  • Next level prospecting skills (full cycle reps)

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling AI products and/or selling to gaming companies
  • Experience selling deals ranging from $1-5M ARR (you'll have a shot at some larger than that)
  • Gaming industry connections or experience
  • Familiarity with Gong, Hubspot, and LeadIQ
  • A or B round startup experience
