Location: Flemington, NJ (Preferred) | Woodstown, NJ Considered
Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote After Onboarding)
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000

They are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service, developing technically, and building a long-term career within a collaborative public accounting firm.

What You'll Do
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Ensure client compliance while identifying tax planning opportunities to minimize current and future tax liabilities.
- Conduct tax research and prepare technical memorandums and client correspondence.
- Assist with ASC 740 (FAS 109/FIN 48) tax provisions and tax accrual engagements.
- Work closely with Tax Managers, Directors, and Partners on complex tax engagements.
- Develop strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Mentor and support junior staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize tax preparation, research, and workflow software to maximize engagement efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
- Experience with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, GoSystem RS, or similar tax software
