About the Opportunity

Paro is connecting experienced finance professionals with remote, project-based AI training opportunities where they can use their real-world expertise to help evaluate and improve AI-generated financial work. This is not a traditional finance role. You’ll apply your professional judgment to realistic financial scenarios involving areas such as valuation, financial modeling, credit analysis, investments, FP&A, treasury, and risk.

You’ll evaluate AI-generated models and analyses, identify faulty assumptions or calculations, and determine whether the work meets the standards expected of an experienced finance professional. The work is flexible and self-directed, with opportunities to contribute to projects based on your expertise, performance, and available work.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop challenging, realistic finance tasks based on professional experience and real-world workflows.
  • Create supporting materials such as financial statements, financial models, data extracts, term sheets, investment committee materials, and correspondence.
  • Evaluate AI-generated financial models, memos, analyses, and presentations.
  • Review assumptions, calculations, conclusions, recommendations, and identified risks.
  • Compare AI-generated responses and clearly explain where each succeeds or falls short.
  • Identify issues such as broken model logic, unsupported assumptions, misinterpreted financial statements, scaling or unit errors, and overlooked risks.
  • Develop detailed evaluation criteria defining what a professionally sound financial deliverable should contain.
  • Contribute across valuation and modeling, credit, FP&A, investments, treasury, markets, and risk.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on professional experience in corporate or investment finance preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field completed or in progress.
  • Professional experience in one or more of the following:
  • Corporate finance / FP&A
  • Equity or fixed-income research
  • Portfolio management
  • Credit analysis or underwriting
  • Investment banking
  • M&A / corporate development
  • Treasury and liquidity
  • Market, credit, or liquidity risk
  • Wealth management
  • Insurance, actuarial, or underwriting
  • Hands-on financial modeling experience, including building or auditing models such as three-statement models, DCFs, comparable-company analyses, credit models, or budget/forecast models.
  • Current or recent hands-on finance experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify faulty assumptions, calculations, or conclusions and clearly explain why they are incorrect.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
  • CFA, CPA, FRM, or relevant securities licenses are welcome but not required. Practical expertise is the priority.
