About the Opportunity
Paro is connecting experienced accounting professionals with remote, project-based AI training opportunities where they can use their real-world expertise to help evaluate and improve AI-generated work. This is not a traditional accounting role. You’ll apply your professional judgment to realistic accounting scenarios, evaluate AI-generated workpapers and analyses, identify errors or gaps, and determine whether outputs meet the standards expected of an experienced accounting professional.
The work is flexible and self-directed, with opportunities to contribute to projects based on your expertise, performance, and available work.
What You’ll Do
- Develop realistic accounting tasks based on situations and workflows encountered in professional practice.
- Create supporting materials such as trial balances, schedules, source documents, workpapers, and correspondence.
- Evaluate AI-generated workpapers, memos, schedules, reconciliations, and other accounting deliverables.
- Review calculations, accounting treatments, disclosures, supporting documentation, and conclusions for accuracy.
- Compare AI-generated responses and clearly explain where each succeeds or falls short.
- Identify issues such as misapplied accounting standards, unsupported conclusions, numbers that do not reconcile, missed disclosures, or incorrect interpretations.
- Develop clear evaluation criteria defining what a professionally accurate deliverable should contain.
- Contribute across areas such as audit, technical accounting, tax, close, consolidation, and financial reporting.
