We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual Testing) to join our growing team and ensure our product meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX Designers to understand requirements and deliver quality software.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UI testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
- Verify fixes and conduct retesting of resolved issues.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to testing best practices and maintain test documentation.
Work Experience Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in manual testing of web-based SaaS applications (HR Tech experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
- Ability to quickly grasp domain knowledge and product workflows.
- Exposure to REST APIs and basic API testing using tools like Postman is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in AI/ML product teams.
- Understanding of HRMS, ATS, or payroll systems.
- Knowledge of basic SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with automation tools (like Selenium or Cypress) is a bonus.
