Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong experience in Python and Playwright to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Design, build, and implement test frameworks and tools for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and verify bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for test automation.
- Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes.
- Ensure proper documentation of test cases, plans, and reports.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using Playwright.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer with a focus on automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test frameworks like pytest, unittest, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in the pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with debugging, logging, and troubleshooting test failures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or REST-assured.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
