Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in Python and Playwright automation to lead our testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, leading the QA team to ensure the highest quality of software products, and collaborating closely with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the QA team in implementing automated testing frameworks using Python and Playwright.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
  • Define and enforce QA processes, best practices, and standards.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Manage test environments and coordinate testing activities for multiple releases.
  • Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) integration of automated tests.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in QA automation with a strong focus on Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest or unittest.
  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong scripting and debugging skills.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
