Polymer is founded by Ash Gupta (former AI Tech Lead at Google) and Yasser Ansari (serial entrepreneur and former design agency owner that helped businesses like Google, Pinterest, and Twitter). This role will allow you to work directly with the founders.
We are looking for a bright and creative individual to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. Polymer Search is based in the US with a global remote team. This role is open to anyone around the world but will require availability during EST work hours (9 am-5 pm).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a deeply empathetic and digitally savvy person to help us understand our users, their use-cases and intents, their level of success with our product, and to help us diagnose and resolve issues.
The candidate would use a myriad of tracking tools (Hotjar, Mixpanel, Slack, internal reports) and their own fantastic judgment to ascertain and record this information at the individual user level. The goal is to understand the precise causes of user success and failure.
This is to be done for all of our users to build individual as well as group-level understanding.
Some proficiency with numbers is important so we can track & understand metrics and also understand the reasons behind them.
Being product savvy is useful—having used many different products and understanding what makes some products better than others.
Among other outcomes, this work will inform interventions that we can make with certain user personas to help drive their success and identify areas of improvement that to avoid failure.
You will develop a deeper understanding of how the product works and how users think and gain expertise on various product and business metrics important to any company.

We are looking for someone who is

Digitally savvy—deep comfort with software and digital products generally, and quick to scale new learning curves
Deeply empathetic—able to get in the head of our users, intuit what they're trying to achieve, and identify their missteps, even if all you see is a cursor and some numbers
Wildly organized—piece together a user's story across multiple tools and reports and systematically record and report on a lot of UX data.
