Description

Regulus is an agile defense-tech startup tackling the most complex challenges in counter-drone and uncrewed defense. With hundreds of combat-proven systems deployed by the IDF and global partners, we are now engineering the next generation of C-UxS (Counter-Uncrewed Systems). We leverage advanced electronic warfare and kinetic measures to detect and neutralize hostile threats. If you want to push technological boundaries while safeguarding Israel and our allies, join us at this pivotal stage of our growth.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company at a pivotal growth stage and help shape its products, culture, and future.

The Field Service Engineer is the engineer customers trust when the stakes are high and the clock is unfriendly. You’ll deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, support and upgrade Regulus systems in the field - sometimes in comfortable areas, sometimes in environments that are allergic to comfort. You’ll bridge engineering, operations, and customers to ensure every installation, demo or event runs like it’s supposed to, even when the surrounding resembles a Jackson Pollock painting.

This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys solving real problems with significant consequences.

No remote option, you will either be on site (Haifa) or at a customer site.

Role Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and provide training for our systems at customer sites (global travel included – regularly 1-3 per quarter, up to twice a month).
  • Provide direct service on our system – whether remote or on site. Diagnose system issues across RF, HW, SW, setup, mechanical or user potential failures. Nail down the root causes but also be able to provide band aids.
  • Execute on-site testing to support user demands and integration exercises. Adapt to support custom user requirements on site.
  • Work closely with R&D to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and push improvements from the field back into the product.
  • Work to maintain installation reports, service incidents, customer feedback, and share when relevant within the stake holding teams.
  • Support Operations with service/field NPI handover feedback, field-readiness reviews, and manufacturability insights.
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the product in the wild—spotting patterns, proposing changes, and getting ahead of failures.

Requirements

  • Strong background in electronic systems (not products).
  • Hands-on experience with field deployments, integration work, or servicing complex multi-discipline systems.
  • Ability to debug across layers: RF -> digital -> compute -> software -> customer.
  • High communication skills - written, spoken, and diagram-on-a-napkin, both in Hebrew and English. Additional language is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.
  • Calm under pressure; resourceful when documentation is insufficient; allergic to guesswork; prone to push through the hard white nights.
  • This job requires a security clearance process.

Desired skills

  • Familiarity with drone ecosystems, counter-drone , military/security environments, or AI-enabled HW sensing.
  • Experience with standard lab equipment and scripting/logging analysis capabilities.
  • Pre-enabled security clearance.
