Regulus is seeking a technical Project manager to run multiple R&D projects executed by a shared multidisciplinary team. You’ll own day-to-day execution: turning program intent into executable plans, keeping schedules strict, and managing the friction that comes with real development.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple concurrent R&D projects across RF, software, mechanical FPGA, system engineering, and hardware disciplines.
- Build and maintain integrated execution plans that account for shared resources, infrastructure constraints, and test dependencies.
- Apply a pragmatic mix of Waterfall and Agile.
- Track milestones, risks, interfaces, and technical dependencies and surface issues early, not politely.
- Coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders and manager on priorities, capacity, and trade-offs.
- Run focused execution forums (stand-ups, technical reviews, design reviews, readiness checks).
- Support lab testing, field trials, and transition between development phases.
- Use execution metrics and data to monitor schedule health, resource load, and delivery risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics.
- 3-6 years of project management experience in R&D for multidisciplinary systems - defense, EW, RF systems may be an advantage.
- Technical familiarity with EW or RF systems (jamming, sensing, comms, radar, SIGINT, spectrum analysis).
- Experience managing multiple projects with shared engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies..
- Ability to master schedules, KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven execution tracking.
- Experience with Jira, MS Project, Monday.com, or equivalent tools.
