Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Graphics and Product Design Intern with a passion for visual storytelling. Joining a dynamic, fast-paced Marketing department, you will be responsible for graphic design, marketing content creation, including video assets, and implementing UX/UI best practices.

The ideal candidate for this role will submit a sample of creative and convincing designs in web, mobile, infographics and/or video/motion graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design: Assist in the creation of compelling visual assets including digital graphics, marketing collateral, presentations, and promotional materials that align with brand guidelines and objectives
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and product management to brainstorm ideas, provide design support, and contribute to integrated product development processes
  • Design Iteration and Feedback: Participate in design critiques, iterate on designs based on feedback, and contribute to a collaborative and iterative design process to refine and improve design solutions
  • Project Management: Assist in managing design projects, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Brand Identity Maintenance: Support the maintenance and evolution of brand identity elements including logos, typography, color palettes, and visual guidelines to ensure consistent and cohesive brand representation
  • Design Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and/or other relevant tools to create high-quality designs and mockups

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's and/or currently pursuing or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into visually compelling designs with attention to detail and creativity
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in any or all of Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere video editing), Figma, Sketch
  • Have a passion for visual design, video and/or mobile and web platforms
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript and the ability to seamlessly go back and forth between code and design. Knowing frontend frameworks such as React, Vue is a definite plus
