Yalo is a fully distributed Series C startup that enables world-class brands like Coca-Cola FEMSA, Unilever, Nestlé, Pepsico, P&G to unlock the full potential of their B2B relationships with millions of retailers across LATAM and other emerging markets through conversational commerce. Digital transformation is imperative for these enterprises, and Yalo’s conversational commerce suite is the catalyst that unlocks access to millions of users who “live in” messaging apps.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our team and lead the product marketing efforts to drive the rapid growth of our business and our product portfolio by conducting market analysis, developing winning strategies, maximizing product launch impact, establishing industry leadership, driving customer maturity and success, and creating a thriving ecosystem of analyst, partner, and customer relationships. As a member of the Yalo Product leadership team this role will have direct influence in our product strategy and roadmap and work side by side with product management, design, and enablement to execute.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SaaS digital commerce and martech markets, experience marketing to Enterprise customers across LATAM, and a proven track record of driving growth for a SaaS company. While Yalo is a distributed company, we strongly prefer candidates who are proximate to our Mexico City or São Paulo offices to interface with our customers and sellers on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and product marketing plans for our enterprise SaaS products.
  • Create messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of our products to enterprise customers and differentiates our offering from competitors.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision, positioning, and execution.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Develop customer personas and ensure that our product messaging and positioning resonates with key customer segments.
  • Develop and execute product and feature launches to drive adoption.
  • Partner with sales to create sales enablement materials, including presentations, battle cards, and case studies.
  • Monitor and report on key product performance indicators, and use data to continuously improve our product marketing efforts.
  • Amplify and represent Yalo in customer- and partner-facing events.

Requirements:

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into benefits and value that excite customers
  • High level of comfort producing insights and analyses that combine quantitative and qualitative data, and a strategic approach that goes beyond reporting data to inform what should happen next
  • Enthusiastic about building credibility and working collaboratively with colleagues from different teams and disciplines
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise digital commerce and martech SaaS markets, including market trends, buyer personas, and competitive landscape
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies that drive growth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messaging and positioning
  • Experience managing and developing a small team of product marketers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing for a SaaS company, with a focus on Enterprise customers
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Strong preference for candidates based in Mexico City or São Paulo
