Role and Responsibility
Experience Candidate with the ability to apply domain knowledge to solve Payroll issues such as:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with implementation / support project in a weekly / Monthly / Bi-Weekly payroll processes.
- Should have good communication skills for understanding client requirements, business discussion, solution recommendations for production issues and enhancements.
- Work closely with US teams and with clients to ensure End to End Payroll management.
- Ensure 100% accuracy while running the payroll.
- Processing Stop payments and re-issue as required.
- Wage Garnishment deduction setup administration based on order.
- Monitoring and handling the ACH rejects.
- Research on payroll Tickets/Query
- Payroll State registration (SIT/UI/Local Taxes (if required).
- Preparation of Final check (Termination) based on State Compliances.
- Experience required for implementing and maintaining Quick Books Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks etc.
- Ability to produce various required payroll report from respective systems.
- Maintain communications with clients, employees, and vendors in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with procedures & client requirements.
- Pre/Post Payroll and Tax reconciliation.
- Strong time and priority management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) required.
- Must be aware of Form 940, 941, W-4, W-2, I-9, FICA, SUTA etc,
- Must have a good knowledge of Health Benefits, 401k, State Tax Filing (SIT/UI), TPA administration, Workers Comp Insurance (Including Monopolistic States). etc.
- Must know about Gross-Up/Non-Gross up Bonus/Commissions.
- Must know about the Overtime Calculation based on respective state guidelines.
- Payroll experience includes, Wage Type process, Year End process, in depth understanding of Schemas, Rules, Functions, analytical skills, problem solving skills.
- Should have worked in onsite/offshore model and client facing role at individual capacity.
