THE ROLE

We are seeking a Paid Search Manager who can confidently lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned accounts, set weekly priorities, and ensure campaign performance and pacing are aligned to client KPIs. You will own the translation of client goals into paid search channel plans, including budget allocation, targeting approach, measurement planning, and testing roadmaps.

The role combines hands-on platform expertise, client communication, and performance analysis. You will establish and enforce quality standards for launches, tracking validation, and reporting, and coordinate work across internal and external partners. The ideal candidate can turn complex performance data into clear business narratives and structured optimization plans, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve account performance and client outcomes. Depending on your location, this role could be hybrid (NYC, Nashville, LA, San Francisco, Miami) or remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Strategy
    • Translate client goals into paid search channel plans, including budgets, targeting approach, measurement plans, and testing roadmaps.
    • Identify broader opportunities across campaign types, automation, audience strategy, and creative or landing-page learnings, and move them into action.
  • Campaign Management & Execution
    • Lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned accounts by setting weekly priorities, managing pacing, and ensuring campaign delivery is aligned to KPIs.
    • Actively manage campaigns using Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads, and SA360, while maintaining strong account structure and platform hygiene.
    • Establish and enforce QA standards for campaign launches, tracking validation, and reporting integrity.
    • Drive structured optimization plans, including budget shifts, bidding adjustments, testing priorities, and documented learnings.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with client objectives.
    • Manage day to day tasks and responsibilities utilizing the team’s project management platform.
  • Analysis & Reporting
    • Deliver weekly performance narratives, monthly and quarterly business recaps, and clear recommendations that connect platform performance to client objectives.
    • Translate performance data into actionable insights, articulate the drivers behind results, and proactively surface risks and opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate, consistent, and timely reporting, with clear ownership of validation, pacing, and delivery status across assigned accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of relevant paid search experience
  • Hands-on experience managing large monthly campaign budgets and complex paid search account structures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead account delivery, manage pacing, and translate performance data into client-ready insights and recommendations
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, and campaign launch, QA, and tracking-validation processes

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with Google Shopping, Demand Gen, and Performance Max
  • Experience with Microsoft Ads, SA360, and Google Analytics

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00, depending on location and experience.
