About the role
We are looking for an energetic and driven Business Operations Manager with 3-4 years of diverse experience in fast-paced startups, and ready to wear multiple hats.
You’ll have the chance to work directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives and internal priorities to employee experience, onboarding, internal tools management, process documentation, sales enablement activities, team events, and office management tasks.
This role provides a front seat to the workings of an early-stage start-up with an opportunity to work closely with leadership and functional leaders to find what you love doing and the ability to define your career path.
As an individual contributor, you’ll report directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the Head of Finance & Legal. This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days in our NY HQ.
In this role, you will:

CEO Office

  • Attend calls with CEO internally and externally to capture notes and action items
  • Build a business diary of company-wide quarterly and annual priorities, and ensure they stay on track.
  • Follow-up with internal stakeholders for progress and updates on priorities and one-off tasks.
  • Create and finalize documents and presentations for the board, prospects, and potentials with guidance from the CEO and the leadership team.
  • Finalize and review internal content and documents that come to the CEO for review.
  • Plan and schedule internal team meetings with the CEO for updates.
  • Drive strategic deals with the CEO.
  • Other tasks will be assigned from time to time.

Employee Integration & Experience

  • Develop a robust process for employee onboarding and off-boarding in close coordination with the People team and line managers, and ensure its compliance and governance.
  • Plan monthly employee activities to bring teams together and build upon our company culture.
  • Continually assess our culture and plan actions for emerging concerns at all levels against our values and CEO expectations.
  • Drive twice-a-year team off-sites bringing key team members together globally.

Internal Tools Management

  • Manage company’s overall tech stack including subscription management and renewals.
  • Structure, manage, and govern the use of internal collaboration tools like Slack and Notion making sure functions are updating content as needed.

Office Management

  • Collect, ship, and forward mail and packages.
  • Manage office lease.
  • Procure and manage IT assets.

You’ll bring:

  • An eventful 3-4 years of experience at a fast-paced company managing diverse aspects of business-related operations.
  • A start-up mindset ready to learn quickly, take initiative, and deliver without fear.
  • An organized multitasker delivering focus and paying outstanding attention to details.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to develop basic creatives and modern content.
  • Ability to work closely with technical and business teams and customers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Motivated by our story and open to learning about logistics, customer verticals, and our platform.
The compensation range for this role is as follows:
In addition to other forms of compensation like perks, benefits, and stock options, the salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skillset, experience, and geographic location.
