The role

We’re looking for a senior product / B2B content marketer to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate has a perfect blend of technical savvy and creative spirit to help our marketing content resonate with the platform engineering teams that buy our product.

Working directly with the product, sales, partner and customer success teams, you’ll be responsible for contributing to messaging and content that drives demand for our enterprise Kubernetes management platform, across both commercial and public sector market segments.

To facilitate global working, we are looking for a candidate residing only in:

  • Canada
  • US


What you’ll be working on:

  • Product content: Creating, updating and optimizing evergreen website content and product collateral such as datasheets, adapting for different customer personas, industry audiences and use cases.
  • Broader marketing content: Writing blogs, PDF guides, press releases, adverts, landing pages, newsletters, customer stories, invitations, nurture emails and other types of educational and promotional content.
  • Partner marketing: Creating product collateral and campaign ‘kits’ to share with our channel partners to help them execute, and collaborating with our alliance partners to co-create collateral and campaign material with them.
  • Visuals: Creating diagrams and recording short demo videos to accompany your written work, collaborating with our designers and elephant.
  • Presentations: Supporting with webinar and event speaking sessions, from defining topics and writing compelling CFPs, to editing slides and coaching speakers.
  • Messaging: Contributing to our competitive intelligence research and messaging development.


What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • B2B tech marketing background: You understand campaign tactics, vehicles and best practices, and you know B2B IT buyers and their needs.
  • Great storytelling: You must be awesome at structuring an argument, getting to the essence of a complex topic, and expressing it crisply. You have high standards.
  • Technical proficiency: You can talk comfortably about Kubernetes and could deliver a GUI demo. Ability to dive into kubectl or write yaml a bonus. If you are totally new to the world of cloud native, please do not apply.
  • Software knowledge: Webflow, Hubspot, InDesign, Gdocs, Canva, Figma, Excalidraw, PowerPoint. That’s where you’ll be living. And Slack, of course.
  • Drive: You are productive and self-motivated; you have good ideas and make them happen without waiting for someone else. You understand the urgency of startup life.
  • Organization and stakeholder management. You’re comfortable juggling expectations, articulating strategy and communicating progress to diverse teams, including working with agencies and vendors. You enjoy presenting.
